Our Client is dedicated to providing compassionate and person-centred care to our elderly residents in Gosport. Believing in creating a warm and supportive environment where our residents can thrive, and we are currently seeking caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as Carer.

As a Carer in the nursing home, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, foster meaningful connections, and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.
• Participate in recreational activities and encourage residents to engage in social interactions.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a nursing home or similar setting.
• Compassionate and patient demeanour with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated caregiving team.
• Basic knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
